About Us

Founded by Producing Director Nancy Duncan in 1982 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1983, CoDanceCo is the non-profit artistic and administrative home for Dancing Classrooms Long Island (DC/LI).

MISSION

CoDanceCo is dedicated to fostering the physical, social, and creative health of youth and adults through the art of dance. The company accomplishes its mission through four strands of activity: 1) artist-led residency programs for schools; 2) professional development for dancers, teachers, and students; 3) choreographic residencies for established and emerging choreographers; 4) community-based performance projects.
